Some floor tiles have a glossy finish from the glazing process, which can make them tricky to bond to. I saw this work done with a wood floor over regular tile and it looked great. Look for products that can be applied over cutback adhesive or vct (vinyl composition tile). It is helpful to measure and calculate this ahead of time.
