These dark hardwood floors have a rich red tone that pulls a rich wine color out of the thick fringed curtains on either side of each window. Part of the misunderstanding here stems from the fact that in the wood flooring industry stain has a very narrow meaning: Once the stain has dried, it can be difficult to remove it entirely from your floor.
